The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - KarthXLR - 03-25-2009 http://blip.tv/play/gpk29dpPjflk Kotaku It looks like an interesting title, but I'm sure it's going to be similar gameplay-wise to Phantom Hourglass. Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - Scary Womanizing Pig Mask - 03-25-2009 Haha trains? Nintendo you so wacky! As long as it's anything like Phantom Hourglass I'll be stoked for it. As weird as this sounds, PH was one of my top favorite Zeldas, right up there with Link's Awakening and Majora's Mask. MM will always be my favorite. Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - CaffeinePowered - 03-25-2009 Phantom hourglass had great controls, probably will pick this one up Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - Scary Womanizing Pig Mask - 03-25-2009 (03-25-2009, 07:03 PM)Caffeine link Wrote: Phantom hourglass had great controls I don't get why people badmouth them. PH had some big flaws (*cough* ocean temple *cough*) but I thought the controls were it's shining glory, and the perfect example of DS controls done right, with out to much stylus waggle. Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - Evil Cheese - 03-25-2009 Wait wat? How does a train wind up in a Zelda game? You'd think they'd pick something more not stuck to tracks like a hot air balloon or something. Still looks cool though. Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - Squishy3 - 03-25-2009 link's awakening dx is one of the end-all portable zeldas, only one I ever bothered to do everything in too (fuck yeah trading quest and all the secret seashells) I'm interested in it, doubt I'll pick it up day-one though Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - Benito Mussolini - 03-29-2009 (03-25-2009, 08:38 PM)Ye Salty Karth link Wrote: [quote author=Evil Cheese link=topic=2562.msg72999#msg72999 date=1238030804]Zelda can't stay in the dark ages forever, I have a feeling Nintendo might experiment with new time periods. And while I don't think any portal LoZ will ever be as good as awakening, I think this one will at least be 'good' Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - at0m - 03-30-2009 (03-25-2009, 08:45 PM)Squishy3 link Wrote: link's awakening dx is one of the end-all portable zeldas, only one I ever bothered to do everything in too (fuck yeah trading quest and all the secret seashells) I'm interested in it, doubt I'll pick it up day-one thoughI hated those seashells. I beat it without the upgraded sword. Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - cannedpeahes - 03-30-2009 This and PH make me wish I had a DS. Alas. I like the atmosphere of WW/PH/dis-one, but MOTHERFUCKERS ZELDA CAN'T HAVE TRAINS. Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - JoKeRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR - 03-30-2009 PH was kinda meh for me. Too short and easy and had a lack of interesting characters. The last boss was so easy I got stuck. Link's Awakening and The Minish Cap are masterpieces Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - HuckBerryGee - 03-30-2009 still waiting for another zelda on the wii, something a bit more refreshing than TP. I also totally agree on an alternate universe zelda set in the future. Re: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. - Eschatos - 03-30-2009 Just you wait. Gears of Zelda will come out, and then you'll be sorry.
