It sure is Decadence around here. - chronomaster - 03-28-2009 http://planethalflife.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Previews.Detail&id=82 New HL2 mod. Post-apoc style team based shooter. Sounds good. Looks pretty het. We gotta try it some time. Re: It sure is Decadence around here. - Wedge - 03-28-2009 It sounds like Gears of War as an as an FPS instead of covered based TPS. Why would you wanna play that? Re: It sure is Decadence around here. - KarthXLR - 03-28-2009 One problem: In the trailer, it said, "two versus two tactical action". WHAT. This looks like 2 people shooting machine guns at 2 other people with a Gears style health system. Re: It sure is Decadence around here. - cannedpeahes - 03-29-2009 Could be fun. It's also small-scale play, which is an asset for an HL2 mod because you know those servers never fill to capacity. This is a game you can pick up and play with a tiny group of friends, meaning that it'll probably have a much longer shelf life than many other mods. Re: It sure is Decadence around here. - Wedge - 03-29-2009 An example of a good 2v2 game would be Spliner Cell: Chaos Theory. Because like L4D, it pits two distinctly unique teams against eachother. In fact, we should all just go find cheap copies of that for $5 and play it instead. Oh, man, I bought that like three months after release and never got a chance to play multiplayer because nobody was playing. Fuck. I'm all for it. Also it uses Starforce, which I don't really want on my computer, but if a couple more people are interested, I'll play.
