it is very possible that I will be recording my first comedy album entitled "Deprogrammed". It's not set in stone yet but I am contemplating it... will anyone buy my cd?Â

Seriously though, do the free/viral thing, post short video-clips on youtube, have it link to /advertise the fact that the whole comedy album is free, seed it on torrents, and most importantly TRACK what you do. See where you are getting buzz/traction and where you are not. Once you get buzz, then submit it to aggregators of such buzz (local tv station out east has a "hot on the internet" segment on one of the 20 versions of the evening news).

I haven't heard any of your comedy, so I seriously can't judge whether or not I'd pay for it. I'd probably listen to it, and possibly review it if I got a free copy out of it, but I doubt I'd buy it outright.
