Should we do a 3rd week of S&I?

I still would like to see more people come out, its really kind of disheartening to see only 6 or 7 people come out to a game like this.

Second time around it was a lot more fun since I knew what was going on.

Here are the basics:  There are two competing research companies.  Each company has their own base that has scientists and an Administrator.  You start the game with a tiny bit of money and a few scientists.  The goal is to break into the other teams base, whack a scientist over the head, throw them over your shoulder and run them back to your Administrator.  Scientists work like flags in that once they've been whacked you just run over them to grab them and if they are dropped you have to touch them before they despawn back into the enemy teams base.  The more scientist you have the faster your team makes money and the faster you research new things.

Now onto research.  Your team votes on new research by pressing F1.  This brings up a list of upgrades to give you an advantage in battle.  Over time you will get what ever you are researching and it will move on to the next thing.  This is important because you only start with a pistol and hardly any armor.  Upgrades do things like make you jump like a crazy ass kangaroo, regen your health, give you more armor, and of course weapons.  It's best to research a good weapon and then stick to that while you pimp out your body upgrades to make you tougher to kill.

Oh and one last thing, if you kill an enemy that drops a weapon you don't have you can pick it up and give it to your administrator to start filling out your research points towards that weapon.  So it is a smart thing to do.  Also it makes it important not to die holding a good weapon the other team doesn't have.  There are also some resources you can sometimes steal and you can wreck the other teams shit in some maps making them spend money to fix it.

Got that link from a guy who wandered into our IRC after seeing the server up, if anyone is interested they do games on Sundays it seems, theres a full schedule with custom maps and everything

I might still bow out though, my boss is riding my ass for a project thats already behind schedule.
