oh boy homestar runner.
my favorite character is still Bubs. also, my first game/time on a PC was Duke Nukem 3D..forget what year it came out, but I was born in 1991, so that's very young. |

[/quote] Somewhere during 1994 ~ 1996. Yeah, my school had internets and residential areas were still at 2400 BAUD (?) to Prodigy, Compuserve and local BBSs. Homestar Runner was 2000, so sayeth Wikipedia. Used to love it and watch anything they posted... haven't been in way too long, though am usually quite entertained...
the following, from hsr, is still a part of my day to day vocab though - when I'm with a few of my closer friends: BOOOO! (king of town - i think from the strong sad competition) I have a sock on my head? giddit off, geddit off! etc. (extra from strong sad comp - I guess I liked that) Nice jeorb...(often followed by a hom-stray)- Â obviously squeaky pance dance - "crazy" email Oops... you bwoke it and pretty much the whole convo in the interview strong bad does with homestar often starting with: "I doubt it... i dwove" - "but you don't have a car" - "YEAH.. yur pwobabwy wight" (even got my parents saying the latter quite frequently) trust me... I'm a 2L |
