While I don't care about ICO, to get a better looking version of Shadow of the Colossus? I'm all over that. Great game that I never got around to finishing, but to see the PS3 push it further than it was on the PS2 will be awesome. Hopefully it is true.Â

Dito. And how can you not care about Ico? Ico is amazing.

more developments on this, and I really want to play through sotc again. I'll most definitely do it if this comes to fruition. |

Anyone play the God of War games on PS3? How good were they in comparison to their PS2 counterparts?

GoW3 was a lot of fun, minus the annoy8ing scenes surrounding the chain of balance.

If you play the HD version of GOWII for the PSIII, you can see how they took a lot of shortcuts to make it read really nice on a 4:3 CRT. I saw an interview with one of the devs where he outlined some of the tricks they used.

Picked this up the other day. Really, really, really good port. Comes with a ton of extras too, totally worth $40.

it's a better port because it doesn't run at 20 frames max like the ps2 one does.

[/quote]Sure, the first time we played it because we didn't know any better and most console games (especially PS2 ones) didn't have really steady frame rates at that point. But I tried playing it again 3 or 4 months before this collection came out, and with the fact no AA and the really bad frame rates, it made it practically impossible for me to play. |
