I'm painting up a Nintendo 64 and I was wondering if something like the craft acrylics at Hobby Lobby would work on a primer coat well? I would go spray paint, but it's harder to get the exact color I want that way, so I thought if those were an option and if not, what would be best?
Also recommendations on a clear coating would be helpful. |

Use an acrylic compatible primer.
Personally, I go autobody. Use a nice automotive spray primer. You can get any colour (and finish) in the world made up as a spraybomb by a bodyshop. |

Make sure to get a clearcoat that's compatible with your paints, because it would suck to have a beautiful design that started flaking off, but it would suck more to have a clearcoat that melted your design.
