scouts fucking destroy me as demo, i use the sticky foot strat like with pyros then i realize most scouts aren't pants on head retarded

for some reason its incredibly hard for me to stop using stickies mid fight, like if i see a w+m1 pyro i still use stckies

Scouts are suckers for rushing, they expect you to backpedal. Just pull bottle and rush, most times they bite and eat it in 2 swings.

personally i prefer to pistol demos, as it gives me enough time to double jump away from pipes

I thought about doing this for sniper. Probably wont ever do it unless people actually wan't to show interest other than "OHH JUST POINT CLICK AND BOOM".

I like the tips tho. Gonna try some of this out.

Yes that used to work, but now so many of them are using the FAN (especially ones dumb enough to charge you head on) that you never get to melee scouts anymore because of that stupid thing.

so i downloaded the areal shot map and the bots don't shoot far enough off the ground, anyone have any ideas?

you mean the one where the bots just jump in place? pop them up and airshot the jumping makes a foot shot launch them super high

honestly thats a pretty crappy map. no one really jumps anywhere near that straight so i wouldnt be too worried about it

try recording a demo of it and posting it here or frapsing it for youtube. they should basically be doing rocket jump height off this ramp. if you stand on it youll launch just the same

they were going high enough the first time i loaded the map, then went to the one where they jump in place, went back to the ramp one and they were just kinda hopping around on it.
i could record it but i cant do it now
