Should I bother with the weekend deal? I really liked HoMM3, but iv was a bit lacking and I think v probably would be as well. $15 for a game + 2 expansions is enticing, but maybe I should just buy other crap...

HoMM5 is slow and boring. If you like HoMM3, play this instead. (It can be found on sale at various sites fairly often too). You lose the town/empire management part, but gain super fucking awesome combat, character growth, and army pimping.

 Not as much as III but every creature had its own ability pretty much.But yeah V is gay. |
