I never ask for anything, but goddamn this was unexpected:
My parents called me on sunday morning to ask if I wanted to go have dinner with them, I agree, obviously.
Then my mom tells me that they're gonna buy me a house off-campus to live at for the next 3 years.
The reason they're doing this: my brother is getting a trip skiing in switzerland

Actually you aren't getting a house in the sense of ownership, they are just paying rent for you for three years.

We've already gone looking at houses, they're not.
And yeah, I know i'm not owning the house, but i'm pretty much the landlord for whoever lives there with me. hehehe
