Currently I have my system on 2 WDC 750 gB discs on a RAID 0
With everything, all my games, programs, and system, I use up 300 gB out of this 1.5 tB array. Deciding that it might be beneficial for me to have fault tolerance rather than free space, I would like to move these two disks to a raid 1. The RAID is provided by my Asus Motherboard chipset Is there an easy way to do this? hmm, I wonder if I could get RAID drivers onto a Live CD with partimg on it... Suppose I should have just came out and asked if there was any good way to image or backup a RAID. brb, doing more research. If anyone has any ideas they can throw out for me I would be grateful. I would imagine to change the RAID set up you would have to wipe both disks, move your shit to another drive, then set up raid 1

Give a modern Ghost disc a try.
Hell, v11 can detect my HP RAID5/6/10 arrays and even my FC volumes without additional drivers! |

ghost recovery disk didn't see my raid w/o additional drivers, i'll figure out if i can get it to load drivers from something.
also, i'll check out acronis if i can't get this to work. ugh, I think I might have to build a PE disc i thought of the genius idea to clone my array to another disc in my computer, clearing my raid array and changing the type of it, booting to the new disc, then cloning back to the new raid array i'm pondering on how many things can go wrong with this before i do it. I do this when I have need to fuck with my 0 array, however I use a 2nd networked PC in place of the another internal drive, because none of my other internals have the space free to do this. |

I use Norton Ghost 15 - Legal copy. Don't fuck around with your data, if you wanna do it right, buy it.
Also: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us..._guide.pdf Page 29, step-by-step for including 3rd-party drivers on a custom Ghost RecoveryCD |
