Hello my friends. I seem to come here to ask for help quite often.
Besides the fact, I suffer from ridiculous laziness, which leads to procrastination. I have a problem with waiting till absolutely the last moment to do something, and even then still procrastinate. Which is what I'm doing by making this too. My problem is I really don't want to do my work, so I don't. And I've never worked around it. SO What do you guys and gals do to not procrastinate? What do you think I should do? You are just going to have to push yourself to do the things you don't want to. I procrastinate to a point; I know how far I can wait before it is no longer a comfortable time span to complete a task. I know how long for me until the situation becomes uncomfortable because I've put it off too long. Determine that point and allow yourself a little breathing room, but still do the task required in enough time to not have to rush.
Or, what I (used to) do with school work sort of stuff was to do as much of it as possible ahead of time so that I could be lazy up until the due date. |

Comes with willpower, if you really cant do it yourself, turn things off and/or get someone to yell at you to do it  Sig by Joel |

I'm a pretty bad procrastinator as well. For me the challenge is getting started on something. Once I've actually started working on it I can usually stay focused, it's just a matter of getting past that initial barrier. There were a few times in college when that really fucked me over. Now if I feel like I'm procrastinating too much I usually remind myself of the consequences of not getting that thing done and that's usually enough to get me to start.
A technique I've heard that works for other people is a small goals and reward system. Before you begin working on something, create a list of small goals. Make sure each goal is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely. You don't want the goal to be too broad, you want to have a specific deliverable (complete X problems or write X paragraphs), make sure that it is achievable within the amount of time that you've allotted for it, be honest with yourself and don't try to attempt something you don't think you can complete within your expectations (unless of course you have to), and be sure to set an appropriate time limit. Once you've completed a goal, reward yourself with something. Go play a map on TF2, or go surf the internet for X minutes. The trick here is to not overindulge in your reward and return back to the next task. |

You just need to prioritize your time.
If you whip out google calender or whatever your equivalent is, and just start chopping up your free time. This hour i'm going to write, this hour i'm going to research, this hour i'm going to do math, this hour i'm playing tf2, this hour i'm calling my girlfriend, this hour i'm finishing the work i didn't finish. It's extremely difficult to just go home and say, time to do all my work. But, if you schedule your time correctly then you always know you when you have to do something so it becomes increasingly more difficult to procrastinate. |

Try goin without the internet for a week..
Seriously, my first week of college I didn't have internet, but that turned out to be the most productive week I've ever had. Go home, do homework, do any chores, play a quick game, then sleep. Course, that all went to hell the following week. No regrets.

2.4mb sig ã(ಠâ¿â¿à² ã)      (â¯à² â¿â¿à² )â¯ï¸µbıs qɯ4Ë2 |
