I'm not quite sure what is causing it. I'm updating the firmware now just in case. If that's not the problem anyone have any suggestions? I did some googling and found that resetting the defaults could fix it, otherwise I might have a bad PSU on the unit and would need to go through their support.

I work for a storage company that makes several NAS products. I would say call their support and ask if they can help find out what the deal is. It might be something they could help you with over the phone.
