I woke up this morning and my computer was acting weird. It's performing fine but as you might notice from the screenshot below, there's random specks appearing all over my screen and disappearing/moving whenever I move the mouse. As you can also see from the screenshot google is not being helpful. Any idea what this means?

I see your problem

Bad video cord? Bad hardware In order of what you should hope it is. Turn off mouse cursor shadowing in windows, see if that helps, or perhaps try changing the cursor itself as well. Try pulling all your RAM and moving it around in the slots too... never hurts. I get issues exactly like that intermittently, but I know the cause of mine is Multiplicity when it hiccups and my cursor gets stuck on another computer. Point is that looks a lot like a software issue. |

Restarting made it go away, but I've been getting weird shit a lot in the past few weeks.

Start doing overnight memtests on 1 stick of RAM at a time, maybe 2 nights each. You have the time and a working PC right now so you can get that out of the way early. |
