Hey brbu,
I hope everyone is doing fantastic in their respective past year and I wish everyone leagues upon leagues of success in their coming one. Did you learn anything this year? I'd like to share and I'd love to read how you feel. 1. Never let a single person get in the way of you and your dreams. If they are not there to help and support you, they are not worth keeping around. There are many people with 'crabs in a bucket' mentality and once you notice signs of this, cut these leeches out of your life. 2. The best way to help others is to first help yourself. Positive attitudes and finding personal success is a great way to create interpersonal connections with others and find common ground to keep each other afloat. We're all gonna make it if we try to make it. 3. Ottawa is so bureaucratic, even the escalators are a waiting game. STAND RIGHT, WALK LEFT, PEOPLE. 4. Wearing what feels comfortable is what makes you seem fashionable. I don't mean physical comfort, like a soft sweater, but the confidence and comfort in your own skin. A person's aura is hugely affected when they are not wearing something they feel comfortable in, and that's the only time I will be critical of someone's tastes. Wear what you like, not what's in GQ. 5. Many people in our current age group don't seem to realize just how hamstrung we are by the middle-aged and senior voting bracket, even outside the polls. You are abused in the workplace, mistreated by banks, and made feel so insignificant that you never want to speak a new idea to your boss/parent/relative/older positive figure again. This is not normal. 6. There can be some very backwards people, even in our contemporary culture. Why is gay marriage still a debate? Why do we still have racists? Why do we have misogynists? Why are there so many people trying to make each other feel inferior when we are all people, stuck on the same space stone, floating around together. Keep being amazing, brbu. Funbucks  8) Too hip for gangsters and too gangster for hipsters. |

fuck yeah dude, that was awesome.
I have a lot of thinking to do in the new year. That could be something as simple as making decisions to eat healthier, or not spend $50 more than what I need. It all boils down to the thought, and that's what I encourage everyone to do. Think tons, each thought brings us closer to the answers. Have a good one, guys. 'Meditation is supposedly the only way to Enlightenment because the only way to find this truth is through inner reflection - therefore, what you are finding to be the truth in your personal journey should ultimately be exactly what I find to be the truth, though all of our journeys are unique.'

I learned that "Papers, Please" is everything I've been asking for when it comes to choice in video games. This game is brilliant, and I don't say that lightly.

There were several moments where I was that guy balancing survival with trying to do some good in the world. I think I understand how easy it is to become a cog in an evil bureaucracy. |
