FNF - 12/18 - Blue Screens of Death & Mid Afternoon Whoring

I was going to run things tonight, but since I can't seem to play for more than 5 minutes without BSOD'ing (thanks valve!), Negate will be running things.

To be clear we will _NOT_ be doing achievement whoring on either server during FNF, I scheduled a time for this afternoon from 3 - 4/5 (depending on attendance) where I will lock the Blue server for whoring.

If people can not make this time I will schedule another for Saturday or Sunday (likely also in the afternoon).


We'll probably do some RPS, a PUG or two, and some general play on neglected maps, but its going to be up to Negate, I'm just making the post early for him

So last night I had the bug where every time I died I "found" an Übersaw, which kept me from getting any actual items, including the Targe after getting the first Demo milestone. Then all morning and afternoon today I couldn't connect to the inventory server, so I didn't get/couldn't use any unlocks, not even ones I'd already had equipped.

So when I joined the server before FNF tonight my inventory was back up. The first time I died, I found 20 items. All at the same time. Including a Camera Beard.

So that was pretty cool.

ive become incredibly disenchanted by the idea of whoring. I think when i get home im just gonna take two nyquil and pass out for 18 hours

I did it and i have all the Soldier Weapons, and the Targe

but the first time i did it i got 5 achievments, then when i played TF2 again they were gone

I guess you just gotta get over that first bump?

I did fix my BSOD problem, seems that in the last patch they broke multicore rendering, if anyone else is having problems, turn it off
