So that Last Gnome on Earth thing is kinda fun, but it's only 4 players. I figured we should try another custom map and I can think of nothing other than Death Aboard. A map I know for a bloody FACT is good.

Death Aboard II
In Death Aboard you start out in a prison and work your way out to the nearest docks area. From here, you board a stranded ship and finally to an island where there will be a lighthouse as a finale. Death Aboard 2 is the conversion to L4D2. It is now set during daytime.

This was my favorite custom map back in L4D1. Now it has all the fancy L4D2 enhancements and stuff as well as VS (I... think it wasn't in the last one). Unlike Dead City, each map has something new. Start off in a prison, go through the yard, go through some docks and whatnot. If this thing fails to work in Versus then... I'll just give up on good custom vs maps. [Image: scared.gif]

Looks like Realism Versus is coming back to stay. Seeing how fun that went by last time, I vote to do it again next week. I'll put up a poll for what map we'll play it on next week.

Game starts at 8pm CST (That's the normal TFT/FNF time) so try to show up on time so we can avoid spending a half-hour waiting for people. Shout out if you can make it, and make sure to spam invites when you show. Also, join the BRB, 4 Dead steam group to keep up on announcements and whatnot.

Death Aboard II Download
Important: Make sure you download the Left 4 Dead 2 Add-on Support in the tools section on steam to avoid missing textures and models in custom maps.

Yeah, you're not invited anymore.

Other than that, the map was a success. First custom vs map that truely worked out well. ;D

That was not a great map for versus. It was definitely designed for campaign and campaign only.

Map was fine. Great varity, no cheep spots (even at the end if you get charged off you life), and just overall fun. You were too busy QQ'ing about that one round we got raped. Rest of us where having fun.

Now I'll just shuddup to avoid keepin this argument goin. Next week probably Realism Versus. Also, bring mics.

I would pay 15 dollars for a versus mode that did not have a number score attached to it. No, I can't ignore it.

Edit: 20.

would def play that vs again... pretty even for both teams to coordinate a wipe or survive

but there does seem to be quite a few high rated once if you "browse by vs" to try out... plus next week will be realism too, so we could just do that
