i duno about series... but the original child's play was the most horrific thing i saw as a child (next to my aunts tits)

i feel that it was the last real horror movie.. i couldnt sleep with the light off for YEARS after seeing that

I was, however, drawn to the idea of scaring the shit out of myself so i saw the following sequels.  they were extremely funny and didnt scare me one bit... but i still dont think i could go back and watch the original.

and yes... "are you afraid of the dark" was a mother fucker too.. remember Zebo the Clown?  holy shit.

we saw it as a challenge to watch shit scary films we were to young to watch
there was more fear in waiting to watch it, thinking its gonna be amazingly scary than any of the actual films
nothing has actualy scared me since blair witch cause i went camping 3 days later.
