No, you're misunderstanding. Half the country's unemployed population has been so for 6+ months. In other words, once you lose your job you're fucked

Like they see this big gap and thing "oh well why didn't anyone hire you, maybe its something we don't know about". Then they'll pass that person up. With so many people in that boat they're gonna have to get over that I think. Â Sig by Joel |

[/quote] Unemployment is hovering between 9%-10% (if you count everyone out of work its really closer to 20%). 47% of that 9%-10% have been unemployed for 27 weeks or longer. so roughly 5% of the total unemployed have been out of work for 6 months. 11:35 Socks Greatbacon_work: Just accept the idea of enemas. |

I really just feel like crap today. Been pretty much alone all of today, friends are busy, can't find my gym card, I'm doing pretty bad with my favorite games, and my allergies are killing me.
Really wish I had a good movie to watch or something. |

Super shitty day, got wrist MRIed and dye X rayed and they stabbed me in the fucking wrist with a fucking needle. Doctor apologized but said he had to hit bone. It was all the way in the wrist. Tendon is definitely ruptured so surgery or let it be. Back fucking hurt so bad today I'm going back to the doctor. Tweaked it some weird way and almost passed out. Oh and I burned two ofmy finger prints off. Too tired to turn on computer posting from my phone.
Which reminds me AT&T Internet was out in Ocala all day. |

It sounds like he was picking up a 300lb meth pipe which blew out his back, and in a heroic effort to not drop the meth pipe when it popped, he halted it's fall with incredible force of will, but the sheer inertia of the massive pipe put too much of a shock load on his tendon and blew it out. When it hit the floor it got two of his fingers stuck under it, so he couldn't get them out, burning his fingertips off. |

I iced down the fingers pretty good so they didn't blister (at least yet) I was trying to close the exhaust on the top of my grill to starve the coals of oxygen but forgot about the principles of heat transference and shit like that. This is why you go to school kids to learn that metal is an excellent heat conductor and even if it has a little handle dohickey that sticks out away from the grill and even if its been a couple minutes it's still probably hot as fuck.
Back feels a little better today but at this point I'm convinced I did something serious to it because it has been hurting for almost 2 weeks so I'm calling the doctor after I post this to go back in or something. He told me to take ibuprofen which has done pretty much jack > The wrist was something I injured a long time ago and never got around to getting checked out. Although I think I should stop saying that before the insurance tries to deny me for a pre-existing condition or something. That was what I was originally going for but then I hurt my back too :'( |
