I got an error when I tried to redeem my key.

If you installed APB on Steam during KttC, Steam''s trying to give you a KttC key.

If you still have it installed: Do a "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" to force Steam to grab your retail CD key.

[*]Right-Click on APB in the Games List
[*]Go to Properties
[*]Go to the Local Files tab
[*]and hit "Verify Integrity of Game Cache..."


Now you can click the "CD Key" link in Details or right-click for "View game CD key" to get your new key.

If you just did a "fake install" to get your KttC key in the first place, just do another one.

instructions for how to get the client to download despite their update servers being offline. for those of you that pre-ordered after the KttC event and dont have the client i'd suggest getting it now. 15 hour download for my slow ass.

I just redeemed my game key and I have 10 hours, which I am assuming is correct since you get 10 hours for the early start.
