Oh god KotH Rainbow.  It's a friggin' joke map.  Good to play as a joke, but it is not a map for so much as semi-serious play.  A new version, maybe, but keep that version on the server with all the other joke and gimmick maps.

Also, loss of a double jump was a laughable penalty for the ability to stun, since it almost always results in death for the stunned.  It'd be like giving the spy a knife that kills instantly from the front AND the back, at the expense of a speed reduction.  For what's being offered, the penalty is NOTHING.  And, hell, you take an extra 25% damage when you're stunned now (damage taken while stunned changed from 50% to 75%).  It's MORE deadly now.  Just because it comes with a real penalty is no reason to bawww.

Well as for rotation stuff, I just want as much of dat 5 point cp on there as we can get.  So I'd like yukon since it's an official and VP's map was really nice too.

There's a reason I'm not called Pedoscout, and I agree.  The scattergun is hella strong and the FaN is close (knockback's pretty nice, though, especially if you can use it to knock a fool into the line of fire, especially that of a sentry).  Still, stunning is pretty nice and when it's used it does pretty much guarantee a kill, unless you're so close that it only lasts a couple seconds.  Even if you use it as support and allow others to actually reap the benefits of your baseball sniping, stunned combatants are helpless while they watch the enemy bear down on them.  Better hope your teammates are there to bail you out.  And now stunned players take a quarter more damage than they did before.  Even though you can't stun ubers anymore, the Sandman is a powerful weapon, and if you're a decent scout loss of the double jump isn't traumatic.  Sure, double jumps are nice and useful but not as useful as the spherical roofie of doom.  I'd say in its old form it was a straight upgrade, even.  Now, if a scout chooses to use the power to practically doom a bonk victim to be someone's free kill (the scout's free kill or one of his teammates), they have a real penalty that makes the user weigh their options a little more.

Actually, loss of double jump was a big reason many didn't use it. Double jump is incredibly important to scooting.

no u see sandman prevented 50% of 200% damage, so it actually only worked for a third of the time, so this new sandman, if we divide, prevents 122% of damage while stunned, which means it's still fucking annoying

If you would take 100 damage when not stunned, if you stunned under the old rules you could take 50.  Now when you're stunned, you take 75.


75 > 50
