Is anyone else going to watch/buy the HBO series: The Pacific when it comes out? It's made by the same people who made Band of Brothers which is one of the best WW2 series/movies around imo.

From the trailers it seems reminiscent of Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket in that it won't put a sugar-coating the war.

Yesterday I came home and in my wife's fever craze she made a double layer cake. I was confused. She couldn't tell me why she made it just that she had the mix left over and she just felt like she should make it. It was very strange.

uhh, it was more I came back from my friends' place at exactly the wrong time for my roommate, I was unlocking the door to my floor when my roommate comes out of the stairwell with a girl and sees me, then goes back into the stairwell

So I'm confused, when I got home I chugged some emergen-C and I felt better. I wish I'd know if I was getting sick or not. I keep getting mild sore throat, mild headache, persistent cough, feeling weak, then I boomerang to feeling good, then back. Maybe I'm mostly pig-mune? I had bacon for lunch maybe that scared it off.
