battle la was like saving private ryan with really bad characters and aliens
i literally had to make up names for people because i didn't know what their names were but it is good if you like watching your favorite character die almost instantly then spending the next 20 minutes watching some fuck die for 20 minutes

Saw Adjustment Bureau. It was a movie that in the right hands could have been one of the years best. It was still good, just got bogged down by a lot of poor choices as far as storytelling goes.

Rango was awesome. As a kids movie, it fails on nearly every front. It's weird, there are many character deaths (not all bit-parts either), there's swearing, there's adult humor, and it's not afraid to take chances. All of which makes it a great western. Another thing: the movie is GORGEOUS. Every single scene looks incredible! The animation is incredibly fluent and the voice work by the cast is great. The choice of music is a mix between Ennio Morricone and Classical Orchestrations, in other words, amazing.
