Just a note. Server won't be tonight until around 4-5pm thursday for reasons beyond my control.

This is where I bring up if anyone knows how I can rent a server for this game. With the new map size, it severely lowers my fps if I want to play anything else. I'd be willing to pay for a server, but no one rents out minecraft servers.

Not quite the issue. I'm wondering if anyone rents out servers that I can just stick my own files on. Wouldn't have to be much, but just something so I don't have to have my computer on 24/7. Real issue is that next month I'm moving out and wouldn't be able to host the server at all.Â Sad

I'm using a school issued macbook and want to be able to not learn during class, but the BRBU server doesn't load on it. Every other server does, but the BRBU one is just a black screen ):

On a less helpful note. I really have no idea why that'd be. You've tried both the external client and inbrowser client? I wouldn't see why just the brbu server wouldn't load.

Edit: How would I even get it to work on a Mac?

Okay, do to some more crap, server won't be up until around 3-5 cst tomorrow.

I'll say again, if anyone knows a way I can rent a server to put the game on, I'd be willing to pay for it so we could have a server up 24/7 without this "going down all the time" issue.

There are lots of places you can rent rack space and you can put the minecraft server and possibly run at least one more game server off it. You'd have to know how to manage it yourself though, but I am sure there are plenty here that could teach you. Try the server-a-day site.
