BF: Bad company 2?

So I went to register my other Battlefield games for veteran status and the rifle unlock.  Somehow all three of my 1942/expansion codes were already taken, and so was my Vietnam code.  Also I can't remember my 2142 password and the "Forgot Password" button isn't working.  And Battlefield Heroes doesn't count for veteran status.

Did the same thing for my Vietnam key. Also the game says I unlocked the M1 but am still unable to use it. I think the whole thing is fucked.

You sure? I have veteran rank 1 and I just made a heroes account and made an account on the 2142 demo

1. Take M1A1 and WW2 1911

2. Grab some golfballs

3. Find squad with people who like dropping ammo crates

4. Go in w/ rest of team, throwing golfballs at any enemy fire. Don't sit back trying to get points by shooting people from far away.

5. Unlock all recon gear in 5 rounds.

so im pretty sure why my rig is crashing, i just tested and my game ran FINE until a nade went off, so its either an explosion effect or a sound effect thats fucking me up

Im pretty sure some of the unlock descriptions are wrong. For instance before I had body armor it told me it was only available to battlefield veterans then suddenly when  I ranked up I unlocked it.

I'm 4 ranks above what was needed for Magnum ammo before the description swap, and I've already unlocked body armor.  >

Me and Zane figured out a while ago that the unlock ranks are fucked up

Zane and I were rank 10 or so and he had the tracer dart, while i still had 6 ranks to go...

Yeah unlocking stuff is pretty iffy.  Weapons always worked fine, but some of the side stuff was messed up to me or unlocked differently.  Still have the M1 bug that keeps me from using it.

You know, I'd almost bet this is an issue resulting from the pre-order shit, and DICE fucked the whole unlock system up trying to enable pre-order people the stuff they got.


Reasoning: I pre-ordered, and got my items from the pre-order, and when I reached the relevant points to unlock the items if I didn't pre-order, I "unlocked" them. Goes to show shitty coding practices by DICE's d00dz.

EA really needs to fix team balance. Also kicking people to balance teams works surprisingly well so I won't stop. Again today we went from a dying server to a full one with three kicks. I gave them a loooootttt of warnings though.

I usually see team balance issues when some stupid "clan" decides to join the server.

Well theres moments where your ping will spike to 999 and make it almost impossible to play, there's some that won't you let you login, and there's some that just crash your game.

But on the bright side if you get it to work you will be very happy

When it works it works very well. You just have to do some ghetto fixes like booting people to fix team balance some times.

I really love the bug that randomly causes you to crash to the desktop. No error message or anything just FUCK YOU and your at the desktop.

I stopped playing on our server because of the team balance issue and hardly ever having any bc2 admin around, that and brbu members liking to play on the 11 vs 5 side and not balance the teams.
