Please, can someone explain this? Because I don't know which one to idle in now, and if we split up that's dumb since then noone will know when other people are on ;/

[/quote]If you're running in Vista, it _HAS_ to be run as an administrator or it won't work at all. That is the most common cause for it not installing.

did you set launcher.exe to win 95 mode?

I dunno I think I did, I remember Caff tried running me through all of this and I ended up getting frustrated and then playing TF2 instead.

Even though planetside was barely running on my laptop, a friend of mine just gave me a tower that was sitting in his basement randomly.  It was pretty tricked out three years ago, so i'm betting i can upgrade it pretty cheaply and get going again.
