We plan on being open with the community, but we are one down at the moment and probably won't have a final decision on some matters until he returns. As soon as that happens we will update everyone on everything. Until then we'd prefer it if everyone was patient and avoided spreading rumors.

Maturity has little to do with age. I'm twice the age of Versus, and I'll game and joke with him anytime. This is, first and foremost, a community of like minded players, and we aim to remain a community of like minded players. It's not your skill level (we're not a clan, anyone can wear the tag), it's not how smart you are, it's not how funny you are, it's not how long you have played on the server, it's not how many posts you have (hence no postcount). It's how well you get along with others. If you feel that you're not fitting in well here, then there are other places where you might enjoy yourself better.

It's not elitist, it's realistic. If you like the vibe here, you are welcome to stay. If is not your cup of tea, then move on and build your own server and community.... but don't tell us we need to change ours. You don't see me coming over your house telling you how to stock your fridge or rearrange your furniture.

I just don't understand what happened to where people took themselves so seriously around here.  Yes, you should be able to have the freedom to speak your mind around here but when someone doesn't agree with you or flames you there is no reason to get all depressed over it.  It's a forum, not everyone is going to agree with you.

Karth was a positive example of this.  I remember when he first joined he made a ton of obnoxious statements and posts.  The result of most of these posts were somewhat negative comments or comments poking fun at his "ignorance".  Did he quit or take time off?  Not that I recall.  He stuck around and took the criticisms constructively and now hes a "better" member for it.

So lets all just remember where we are and not take it so terribly seriously, thats the admins jobs.  They will close threads, delete posts, and so forth if they deem things too offensive.  The rest of us should just sit back and enjoy our company the best way that we can and try not to flip out and get offended when our idea's aren't agreed with.
