My mom is a classic hispanic old lady, but loves me and my sister and is amazing with little ones. She is also an amazing cook (cliched, I know, but it came in really handy when my dorm floor was eating easy mac and I was having baked chicken and rice

My mother is a control freak with a completely opposite personality from me. I get the feeling we might actually get along once we're several hundred miles apart, but until then I'm counting down the days.
