Arena_mach has been updated to version 2, now called Arena_mach2. This fixes many problems some people had with the map. It now conforms to the traditional arena style of next to no health packs. Some obstructions that hindered gameplay flow have also been taken out.

I'm not sure how to achieve it but the map needs more cover. A good sniper can easily take out most of the other team as they leave the base.
Also, the tunnels up from the sewer seem unnecessarily long now. I guess it might be a bit much work to redo the layout but in the time it takes any class other than scout to drop down and make their way back up, the match is all but over. If it were possible, I'd say a less circuitous tunnel up would be preferable. |
