Final impressions of the game:

Finally gets hard once the game hits near the last chapter and that's on normal.
Characters are practically the same as in DA:O, except for a couple companions and Sandal.
Pretty pissed that there is a lack of customization for some of the characters, although I can be as rich as I want to be.
Combat is more fun, but less tactical so that's the double edge sword.
The general story was good, in a sense that it transitions the rise of power of Hawke. Really fills like a filler to the saga though, like Mass Effect 2.
I hate repeating dungeons, and yes, it is as awful as Mass Effect's, maybe better or worse.

Just beat it the other day. Man, what a crappy ending.

In my eyes, I'd say your best bet would be to wait until it was much cheaper, and wait until they release an excessive amount of DLC to actually make an ending to the game.

In DAO you save a nation
In DA2 you save a city resolve a conflict in a city. A city you dont really give a shit about. They didn't really raise the bar in terms of storyline.

Combat is "You push a button, something amazing happens" lolololol easy. a couple of nice boss fights where you do more then just auto attack.

wait for a sale ~20-30 bucks or just pirate it  b)

The sad part is, in theory, a living, breathing city that you deeply effect over the course of six years would be awesome. Especially if you cared about the town and the people in it. But considering the most you see change is a few cases on side quests where a guy's like "HEY REMEMBAH ME? YOU LIEK SAVED ME TWO YEARS AGO!" Add in the fact that the city's a virtual ghost town, and it's pretty retarded.

Honestly, if you don't like the first one, the second one is a good buy for you.

If you like the first one, then the second one really depends on how you view the glass.

I think it's a joke.  One of the girls in the whorehouse says that she's thinking about changing her haircut, and her friend says "Oh, really?  You've had the same hair for six years now?  Are you sure you want to change it?"  Or something like that.

For sixty dollars that's the worlds most expensive joke. The only way it could redeem itself is when you beat the game, fourteen Dallas cowboy cheerleaders come and start washing your car. Topless.
