I got my package a week ago (sorry for the delay Karf, i know you were expecting my post  :-*)
So, after Karf and i decided to exchange candy, we were a bit nervous if the package was ever going to arrive. After knowing mine arrived soon i was relieved, but i still feared for the candy Karth sent me. Fear no more, since i have the candy and i'm enjoying every single bit of it. First of all, i forgot to take a pic of the Box, but Karth wrote "Enjoy the Feast Bro" on the sides. Nice touch brah. So, going to the candy. This is going to be more boring for you since you already know the candy i'm about to present, but still. The first candy i tried were these: Reese´s Pieces. Peanut butter covered on that caramel thingy that covers the M&Ms. They were smaller, so i could fit a lot more on my mouth in one piece. After a few bites i could feel my arteries clogging, and i could feel i was eating a bit of America with each piece. Talking seriously, they were awesome, but even if the box was big, i felt they were a little selfish with the ammount of candy on there and i ended wanting more (ahem, my birthday is next week *cough*) After that, i said "okay, no more chocolat-y things for me, let's try something different" "Hey, this's got fruits on the box, this must be healthier". God no. First of all these look like suppositories. I mean HOW THE HELL DO YOU SELL SUPPOSITORIES TO KIDS WITH A NAME EASILY TRANSFORMED INTO A SEXUAL INNUENDO!? ("i'd love you go Ike on your Mike", see? easy!). But that aside, the strong "fresh" taste of these are great, my only real complain is that they last less than a fart on a basket, the flavor is gone after 2 or 3 bites, but luckily, you've got a whole bunch on the box. This is Karth's new discovery, and let me tell you, if god's dick was made of white chocolate and almonds, this is how it would taste like. It's like a longer Milky Way, only with mashed almonds making it have a praliné taste. Plus, a lot of caramel. THESE ARE GREAT, DON'T LET THEM DIE! GO BUY A BOX OR TWO NOW! Aaah Reese's, how i love thee. Even though your big package hide a dissapointing 4 units, your strong taste, the texture of your peanut butter and your ability to be "hideable" from siblings is so great i'd marry you in all your orange greatness. I wish they would sell these here. At first i was like "What? Pretzel M&Ms? How is that even possible, oh wait, you live on North America, where a bacon hamburger made out of bacon with extra buns but no bread is possible". I was a little doubtful about these, but after i tried one i notices these are regular, bigger M&Ms with a crunchy center with a stronger flavor. They are great, there's no doubt about it, i love the taste of M&Ms, but due to the size of each piece there were so few on each bow i ended up eating both boxes without noticing. Still great though, but i wouldn't buy them over almond/peanut/regular M&Ms. I know you all warned me to not try these things, but i had to see it for myself. Ever wanted to know the result of the unknow equation of "Candy+Sugar+Extra Sugar+More Candy+Even More Sugar+Marshamallows+X+Y+those eye things=?" The result are peeps, or as i like to call them, diabetes. But being serious, they are great for watching a movie, because they last forever since you won't want to eat more than a toenail each bite. The strong flavor is great and it's the only candy i shared . And yes, i did put one on the microwave. Last but not least, Karth's favorite snack, Gardetto's. Like Peeps, these are great for watching a movie, specially because they make A LOT LESS NOISE THAN POPCORNS OR CHIPS, SERIOUSLY, STOP EATING THOSE WHEN WATCHING MOVIES. I enjoyed every single bit of them, but they are still no better than my Cheetos as favorite snack. And that's all for this year *dun dunnn*. We really ought to make this happen again Karth, i'm really grateful with your part of the exchange I hope you're still enjoying mine. Thanks!!

If you have Peeps left, get two of them and stick a toothpick in the front of each so they poke outwards. Place them both in a microwave about two inches apart so the toothpick swords face each other. Turn on for one minute and take bets on which one stabs which first.
Feeling generous? Karf is a respectable human being. http://i.imgur.com/MTVw5.png Thank you, Mr. Pelican. |

Really though, Karth sent you a pretty solid collection. Mike & Ike's are amongst my favourites, and almost ANYTHING Reese's is my favourite. I've come across Zero bars in my US travels, but never tried one. The packaging always turned me off of them. I'll give one a go next time I get a chance. Gardetto's, on the other hand, are a completely foreign idea to me. What are they, exactly? I know I could just look it up myself, but would rather be sold on them by someone who likes them. |

Indestructibility
Peeps are sometimes jokingly described as "indestructible". In 1999, scientists at Emory University performed experiments on batches of Peeps to see how easily they could be dissolved, burned or otherwise disintegrated, using such agents as cigarette smoke, boiling water and liquid nitrogen.[12] They claimed that the eyes of the confectionery "wouldn't dissolve in anything".[13] Furthermore, Peeps are insoluble in acetone, water, diluted sulfuric acid, and sodium hydroxide.[14] Concentrated sulfuric acid seems to have effects similar to the expected effects of sulfuric acid on sugar.[15] This debate was featured in an episode of the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle ("Traffic Jam") where Francis insisting the "Quacks" (as they were called) would dissolve in his stomach rather than expand, takes up the dare to eat 100 of them, doing so, but getting very sick in the process. from wikipedia http://www.tf2items.com/id/lv15gamer - backpack http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kwvC8WlNuQÂ - tf2 replay |
