HeK and I were going to go to the anime con in Winnipeg once... we were next in line, ready to pay for our super expensive tickets when a terrible SMELL wafted over us, from the direction of the con's entrance; needless to say we decided that it wasn't worth it and went somewhere else.

I would really like to see one of the big con's sometime though, to see some of the costumes that people come up with. I'm always interested in costumes (usually not cosplay, just period outfits) and would love to see what's around.

Not necessarily, but you should always assume the worst when your talking about a large crowd of people, of whom have varying standards on personal hygiene.

I think it depends. I've really only been to two conventions (not sure if you'd even call them that though...): Philly Classic (I think the last one they had :'() and E4All. Didn't have issues with smelly people at either of those.

Not sure if that was sexual inuendo, but it's impossible, as we live equal distances from Pittsburgh, in opposite directions from Pittsburgh.

I've fucking told you I'm going at least a half dozen times! Good grief man!

I'm meeting up and sharing a hotel with some friends who are driving from British Columbia. Haven't booked my plane tickets yet, but it's looking like I'll be flying in on Thursday and leaving early Monday. Should be some good times! Hoping to hang out with people from dtoid and whatnots, but none of my friends are part of that community and usually like doing their own thing... so we'll see.
