She... she was a good server. We had our bad times, but we also had our good times. She had her fair share of changes, but always stayed the same at heart. I looked after her for as long as she was alive, and she looked after us. I truely enjoyed the time we spent together.

I intend to perform a ritual at a later undisclosed date to resurrect her from the depths of server hell... and we shall once again spend good times with my zombie server.

Soo, notch just posted on his blog that he's not going to update the alpha anymore until beta, at which point only those who've bought the game (or had it gifted Tongue

) will be able to play online.

Anyone who doesn't have it yet might wanna pick it up while it's still cheap. Also, if you need some convincing thinking it'll be the same boring minecraft we already grew tired of, lookie below.

And that was in survival mode. I had to mine all my resources. Shame there's no saving in the indev build, but it was worth it ^-^.

i really hope we'll have the option of having to mine for resources in multiplayer or not, i dont think it would work if were dredged up the old brbu server, but it's be pretty cool for single player

The mining for resources thing is just for survival mode. When we get the server back up, it's gunna be creative mode.

Also, you can see the stair blocks in the video. They're the half-blocks at the base of the tower.
