Ctrl+F5 is a hard refresh,

F5: Computer talking to webserver - 'hey, has anything changed? No? Ok well I will show what I have cached then'
Ctrl + F5: 'No, I dont care if nothing have changed, give me the page again'

So I've never really played any of the Civ games, even though I own the Civ IV Pack.

I 'installed' Civ V on Friday after work, started a Marathon Game on Earth with 6 CPU's and me, skill lvl 5. I was up until like 5AM playing it untill I fell asleep on my keyboard, resumed at 10AM when I woke up, played all day up untill I left like an hour ago for dinner.

I HATE THIS GAME.

Ok, going back to the same map now. It's literally going to eat my entire weekend.

Just installed the FF4 beta. It's really really nice.

There's a big patch coming out (most likely) tomorrow.  Going to rebalance a lot of things, so if you are just learning, you might want to hold off starting a new game until then?

Driving home from Portland, get to the 65mph zone and speed up from 60 to 70.
Reach sign that says REDUCE SPEED 45MPH so I slow down to 55 with the few other cars near me.
Drive along at 55-60 for 5 minutes until a truck goes by at 80.
Drive home at 80. Pass people doing 40-50.
Feel good  8).

Only my second time on the freeway in a "storm." I thought last time it was just a fluke.
I just feel in danger (of police enforcement) driving 75+ without someone else to follow.

I used to do the "only if I'm behind someone who's speeding" thing on my trips back and forth from university, but I know the highway well enough now and the type of traffic on it to the point where I just do 80 the entire 2 hours it takes. f the police. If they really wanted to pull people over for doing 80 here, they'd make quota in a matter of hours. As long as you aren't that one asshole who's going 90-100 you're typically fine. That's around here though, and I don't have my PhD in traffic law so don't quote me.

Same thing applies to rain, but not snow. I hate snow, and it doesn't help when your car weighs as much as an aluminum lunchbox.

People here get pulled over for going 75. Hell, I'm lucky. Cops must like me or something. I do 40 in a 25 in town.

You're a fucking loon if you're talking about the strech in between Hand Andy's and the N.Y. town line.

Also, Maine State Police normally leave the interstate system in snow like that because so much of the populace has the impulse to stomp all over the brakes when they see a cruiser, they cause more harm than good by simply being present.

God this is such a problem in IL, Ive seen state patrol cars where the cop looks darn-right pissed because everyone around them slows down to 65 when they want to do 80 in the left lane.
