But wow, and you wonder why volunteers leave after like a week, you should have a serious sit down with the doc in the clinic. I mean really how long does it take to see a patient....how many appointments were there?

Yeah 8Ball, talk to the Dr. and let him know how you feel about it. Taking charge is a huge part of the medical field.

Apparently it isn't a new thing, the volunteer coordinators both seem to have reservations about the doc. The whole clinic is fucked up; information is never communicated effectively and the doctor is difficult to approach.

And who came up with the bullshit no glove protocol?

Apparently we're broke enough that a few boxes of nitrile gloves is a big purchase :|

EDIT: No itch onset, I doubt there was any sizable risk of transmission.

My guitarist says he's going to WI to see his girlfriend for a couple days. No biggie. He went up there yesterday.

Really, he's going to wake up at or before 9am to make a 3 hour drive to get here in time for practice at noon?

I am sick of this shit. This is the reason that I'm the only one who can organize events for us.

Getting ready for bed, lights are off, headphones on, reading forums at my computer, in my bedroom when...

a larger than normal spider floats down in front of my screen.

I move slightly to the right, but somehow his web is attached to my head. When I pull back away from my desk he goes flying somewhere. By the time I go to turn on the lights, I can't find him. Now I'm imagining little bugs  crawling up my legs every couple of seconds. I have a lot of leg hair so I imagine a lot of bugs.

Now I can't go to bed.

I know the worst that will happen is a few spider bites in the morning, but still.
