I barely slept, kept waking up feeling bugs crawling on me. Common spots include in my hair, behind my knees, all over my god darned hairy legs. Thank god for coffee...


Today's FML: Upgraded an old refurbished dell we have (that I sniped the SATA hard drive from to finish my brother's Sandybridge computer) with new thermalpaste and an FX550.

Turns out the ubuntu 11.04 alt installer is too stupid to install it to a 4GB drive, as it makes the boot partition huge and doesn't leave enough room for the operating system... I figured out that if I partitioned it myself, skimping on /boot and /swap, it would work.

Well, finished cleaning and hiding cables, and it turns out I don't have any more DVI-VGA adapters...

So my media center build has come to a stand still. Damn it.
