Hot damn that does look like a really nice combo.  Looks like I overpaid on a couple parts  :-[

Overall I'm happy with what I bought and I'm especially greatful for the help from everyone.  I'll probably need more once everything gets here and I start putting it together

so i took off my stock cpu cooler to replace thermal paste because my cpu kept overheating

Be weary of the 1055. It would probably be best to wait until the next series of 6 core processors before jumping onto them.

Bought a new proc, it's not working either. Going to try my brother's old proc; if it works, I'll try updating my bios and then putting my new proc in; if it doesn't, my mobo's fucked and idk what I'll do.

lol i remember one time i switched cases and i forgot to put risers in and then my pops was pushing down on the mobo and the leds on my ram would turn on.  it was pretty cool until i realized shit wasnt grounded and i fried my mobo.  100 dollar mistake lolololol
