Like I said, I have no idea what system they're using to distribute them, but they mentioned at signup that active forum participantion is a plus, and I got an invite less than two weeks after posting on their boards about wanting a key. Correlation's there, but I'm not sure whether that's a cause:effect relationship.

They've been doing some serious tweaking to game balance re: crafting and item drops, which is a good thing. I just wish there were more efficient ways to grind your level up to get high-quality gear than PvP, because you just get wafflestomped by elite players all the time (no matchmaking system, you just queue a gametype and it dumps you into a game with random teams)

Okay, the game's actually pretty fun so far. Still pretty limited what you can do (thumping or random sidequests) in terms of PvE, but what they got so far's pretty nice.

So this is pretty interesting. Even this far in development, they're still willing to radically modify how their game works. It's good to know they're keeping an open mind on this and keep in regular contact with the community.

They're trying to drive up pops, they've dropped significantly because they went like 6 weeks between patches. They just dropped a new one a few days ago, wonder what they changed (I'm on vacation, haven't had a chance to check as yet).

I played some and had fun. I feel like you need a squad to call thumpers though, I had no success trying to mine by myself. Also what classes are good? I've been focusing on Assault so far.

I thoroughly enjoy playing engineer and medic in PvE, and Assault in PvP, but I haven't played since the last patch dropped.
