Hello, Silenteidolon here. I'm a friend/coworker of Dtrain if you missed my into. With the full release of the game right around the corner I plan to start playing again, and I have more fun building with other people to talk to & share projects with. 

Couple questions first;

1. What difficulty is the server set on? I couldn't find it in the intro topic and I had to leave a friends server recently out of being sick of Peaceful/Survival.

2. Is the community very grief-tastic? I had to leave another friends server because I did not enjoy logging in to find my castle filled with lava (the bad kind) and all my chests robbed. I did not find "Umadbro?" a funny response from the admin.

3. Mods? I wore myself out modding awhile back so I prefer vanilla. I don't mind them though when they aren't uberhax. 

4. Restarting the map for the next release?

I hope that didn't come across as snobby, I'm just a bit more wary of MP experiences now. If all is good, I'd be fun to build with everyone. I usually make shitty castles, villages, and such.

Yeah we are very anti-greif, We use Hawk Eye for logging and local rollbacks, we also do incremental backups every 2 hours and a full backup of every world 1 a day, and we keep the inc backups for 2 days and the full backups for 7 days.

The Server is on difficulty of 1 which is easy and I have Zombe's flying mod disabled(i believe)(haven't personally tested).

I haven't made a decision on weather to start all new worlds when Minecraft 1.0 comes out since 1.9 beta won't be released for Bukkit to my understanding but like Sogo said we will be getting a new nether at least.

Our current Survival World is set to a round border of a radius of 10km so at the moment you can explore around 1.2 million chunks freely.

Our current server plugins are:

InventorySort               - my own plugin I coded that lets you sort you inventory and chests.
