own netbook for about 3 months. break screen. I don't even know when or how it happened but it's just got the typical black marks on it now.
I haven't checked yet but assuming the warranty is voided, what should my course of action be? I can still use it (posting on it right now) but it's really obnoxious. It costed $250 from best buy (I didn't get it from newegg because I just wanted to feel out the keyboard and it was the same price) but does anyone know how much a refurbishing like this runs? everything is fine outside of the screen crack. ![]()

Anyway, try looking up parts for the model of netbook you have on the internet. You might be able to replace the screen yourself. Same goes for finding a refurbished model. Go and find one on the internets. If it exists, it might run ~$100-150. ![]() ![]() |

They taunt me where all I let out is worry for the future of this household. It's always nearly the same. Why do I even try at this point when nothing comes of it? Why the hell would she invite some random woman we barely know to live with us in this ânew houseâ we are getting? With what money are we to achieve this house worth almost one million? My mother expects me to trust her when she has and continues to act less like a mother and more like a child. There is no money for her to receive, there is only drama and that drama will be let out on me. I won't have it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

My next rifle build is getting expensive. Just by adding up parts I'll need online i'm up to $1800. That't not counting taxes, shipping, etc. I'll be over $2000 when it's all said and done and I'll still need $200 for the NFA Tax stamp.

You know, when I was in Afghanistan I had a clearly defined need for an assault rifle with a picatinny rail system and all sort of expensive doodads to go on it. And even then, the list price on a stock M4 is not $2k, and it was good enough to shoot shit at 500 yrds at the SDM course (you don't really NEED the free floating barrel... it certainly helps...) Short of being really awesome to shoot varmints with, I'm not sure I see the need for one back in the states.Â
Dtrain, have you asked yourself, "do I really need this?"Â ![]() |

Only doodads are going to be an aimpoint and a magpul stock. The upper receiver is the most expensive part. The lower is only 80 bucks. ![]() 11:35 Socks Greatbacon_work: Just accept the idea of enemas. |

I'll argue for Dtrain's side on this one, if I had the dosh to spare (I wonder how many guns I could buy with the fastDL money...) I'd be buying contextually inappropriate hardware too.
I've only got my pistol and rifle because I can't afford any more. If I could, I'd have a locker of semiautomatic combat rifles with 3 way rails and acogs, rds's and other really silly hardware as well. But that's just because I love guns. |
