See the key is to just judge yourself all the time so you're used to it.

As far as judging goes, that's something I think you'll have to deal with. It's something that's going to happen to you the rest of your life, it's your job to filter out the people that don't matter. (Related: Was talking with a girl about the climbing wall; she said she didn't want to do it ever because people can stare at your ass. I asked her what makes that any different than every single day then?)

Seriously though, lifting is awesome. It makes you feel good, it makes you look good, and as a result everything else gets better. For the longest time it was the only progression I had in my life and it was my drive to keep getting up in the morning.

As far as motivation goes, I feel like learning to commit yourself to something and to have that self-control is more important than being motivated. Maybe it's different for me because I enjoy it, but maybe you will too. Who am I to tell you to do something you don't like if you end up disliking it?

Karth, it's better that you're honest with yourself and know that you want a monogamous relationship. Despite what popular culture might have you believe, you shouldn't feel ashamed for wanting one. Trying to force yourself into a type of relationship you don't really want is ultimately unhealthy, even if the short-term result seems tempting. Also, other fish in the sea etc. etc.

To clarify I don't mean either position is wrong or right, but rather than slink away because of something your friend says he saw, just find out more and then make the approperiate decision for whatever you feel is right. If she comes out and says she is sleeping with other people and doesn't want to be exclusive then tell her to take a hike.

The thing is, I don't even know her well enough to make a deduction like that. I'd love to take her out on a another date and see what happens, but I can't get in contact with her half the time. After the first time I didn't even get a response from her for like 3 weeks. From my perspective, at least, she's only in this for the sex when she wants it.
