My bad, that's just my customary response on the internet to someone I don't know. It shouldn't be taken seriously at all. Congrats on being sober.

Been losing weight the past couple months. While it's not a dramatic drop, I'm seeing steady progress over time, which is really encouraging. My jeans are feeling loose this morning, and I think that's the most evident sign of progress to me. Can't wait to see how far I can take this. I think I've got a mindset I'm happy with to keep this sustainable. That's been a problem in previous attempts.

Nice. Are you doing all cardio, or some lifting? I found that building muscle really helps to keep the (fat) weight off. Something about raising BMR.

It's mainly just from eating well (I'm treating it as a lifestyle change rather than a diet. Maybe it's just a label, but in the end, seems to be the motivation I need). I did start some Yoga at home, actually, and while I'm not sure of how much it's doing, I'm enjoying it, getting into a good fat-burning heart rate, and I'm working up a nice sweat. It's pretty convenient for me since I can just do it at home.

Yes! That's a great way to do it. Deb and I have been doing some dancing at home, it's more fun than running and thus easier to keep at. Also, AB RIPPER X (sorry for shitty source)

That's definitely part of it. I could try to run, but previous attempts always burn me out. If I can't even do yoga at home, it REALLY makes me feel guilty to not do it because there's really no excuses like weather, time, etc. Plus I'm enjoying it, it's very active and it mixes things up. With running, it's just...running. That's it.

I had two good interviews today.  I will probably take the college pro job offered to me because I need the experience more than I need to do Custodial work at school.

HEY
I enjoy running >:/
You have to get to the point where you get the runner's high and that usually pushes me through the next 3-5 miles. Easy breezy.
If you're getting bored, try different routes/changing your music playlist.

I'm going to go out tonight to hit some balls.
Tennis balls that is.
