That's not a documentary, that's a comedy. Dentatas are a myth, unless they're a defensive device, in which case I believe some exist but are really uncomfortable to wear.

Well if all males did suddenly die it wouldn't be that simple.  There would be massive unrest.  Whoever is alive would be it since there is no more reproduction, thats something pretty heavy to deal with.  After people except that a sudden male would represent a substantial threat to an already unstable status quo.  So yea that is what the comic is about.

Also the guy has a GF in another country he is trying to stay faithful to, which lasts all of about a couple dozen issues.

Ive heard a lot of bad juju about remote apps and such with regards to stuff google is doing, and I don't like it. I like keeping my system to myself and not having anyone else remotely require authentication, logging in, etc.

There was an interesting article about how cloud computing reverses the "open" trend since all your stuff is being kept by one specific company.  That said I am still interested there is a potential of cloud computing is really neat and an OS that is super lightweight is appealing to me.

But I have no use for it now so I will wait too.

I understand the risks entailed with cloud computing, and also the fact that your entire datastream is now out in the public (encrypted or no, it's there) which means it's much easier for others to snoop your stuff. That said it would still be interesting to see how they manage to work a hybrid OS, because a lot of google's software is 'cloud-based' but runs on the client computer in the form of AJAX script. Seeing an entire OS that revolves around that form of computing would be interesting, especially if it allowed you to 'get out from under the cloud' as it were and use the same software and files offline after some sort of automatic synchronization feature. I for one would be very interested in that if they managed to work it in a way that didn't actually involve the cloud (google desktop's multiple computer searching capabilities is a great example, but files get uploaded to google as an intermediary to get from computer to computer)
