As much as I encourage fucking with tow truck companies, the poor girl in the office wasn't the one who towed the car.  And getting 7 cops involved is just fucking ridiculous.  Personally, I would have probably done something that lacks the finesse, sophistication, and legality of this but would be about 10x more effective.

She's working as a tow-truck clerk. You're trying to tell me that shit doesn't come with the job? Wouldn't it be nice if everyone was so nice and polite all the time. No, not even in the restaurant business do we get peace and quiet. You can't honestly be surprised, or baffled by this display. Also the joke was that it was completely legal within all definition after some diggin around to further verify.

As for the tow truck thing - I don't feel bad for her at all.  She chose to work for a towing company.  Towing companies aggressively go after people and do everything they can to make sure they make as much money as possible on the deal.

Eh? As the cops in the video said its perfectly legal for him to pay a debt like that in pennies. If I owe you $10 and I want to be a douche and pay in pennies I can. If you refuse to accept anything denoted as "legal tender" the debt it considered null and void.

Since getting your car towed in a city sucks horribly....like sucks to the tune of not just them charging you but mistreating your car as well....I fully support this man's right to pay in pennies.
