i think it's grey
I'm fairly certain it is and Fail was just drunk when he posted.
I don't drink, I'm color defiicient, and yes, it's mostly grey with green title bars and green text and green accoutrements here and there.  Green and grey is what I don't like together.  Black and dark grey of Obsidian is more pleasing to my eye.

I don't know how to get this thread back on track besides http://yugop.com/ver3/stuff/03/fla.html but I'm sure it's already been posted.

i think it's grey

With some olive green, I believe.

oh in that case im not default, im 'obsidian'

Default and Obsidian are the only two themes that are preloaded that won't rape your eyes. That being said, I like Obsidian more because it's darker and doesn't have that obnoxious green color.

Given the context and amount of knowledge people had at the time, you most likely would not have Sad

Medicine was fucking scary back in the day, and people don't realize that it wasn't until half way even through the 20th century that we finally started having widespread anti-biotics and other effective pharmaceuticals. It wasn't until 1846 that anesthesia was discovered, and even then it wasn't very good and generally limited to ether and chloroform.

Ya but like even with nulling agent they have today, I won't go threw any type of surgery without being put to sleep. That's why I have gotten my nose cauterized yet (which I really should) is because a lot of doctors INSIST you be awake and I won't do it Tongue

The fact they call it exploiting or manipulating is kind of stupid. Once a cat becomes owned by a human, or tame, it's only able to get food when the human gives it to it. So it's more like trying to communicate and say "hey can I has food now". It's no different then me calling my sister on her way home from work and going "Hey can you pick up some Taco Bell?"

Do you have to purr for her before she does it?

Depends on your stance on euthanasia. Medicine is still barbaric, its just dressed up in a lab coat now. Sometimes the treatment is far more detrimental to the existing quality of life to justify living for an indeterminate length of time.

I completely agree. Don't even get me started on how barbaric doctors have made childbirth.

Or the entire process of diagnosis.
Without a complete understanding of the biochemical and biological processes at work in both a 'healthy'/ideal body and a diseased one, practicing medicine is as much an exercise in faith and statistics as it is science. I'd say on the whole, though, medical professionals work well with what they have and actually do increase the quality of life for most patients.

I agree though, there are definitely times when palliative medicine should be used to increase quality of life for a terminally ill patient, and euthanasia should be available in severe cases.
