Got my car sold on eBay. Guy is flying in from California to pick the car up. So of course the check engine light would come on.
Yeah... he's going to pay half of my Wii U gamepad, and offered on the tablet too (well offered the full amount, but I'm not so sure the door wasn't unlocked to begin with and we both didn't realize so I feel bad making him pay for all of it) but I dunno if I'm getting a new tablet yet. Guess I get to go shopping? |

That wasn't directed at you, Coppanuva. That's cool your roommate was nice enough to chip in. That sucks it happened though. I'd be extra vigilant for a while in case your visitor tries to return.

I just got a second draft of a script I'm trying to shoot this semester finished, I'll probably post it when I'm happy with it.
the coffee or the event structure? The screenplay instructor was really unclear on what to do but I wrote this: Living in a post-modern not-so-far future, a reckless drifter-by-choice in his mid 20's, comes home after pursuing photo-journalistic opportunities afar, in war torn countries and areas of the world where it is hard to speak one's mind without a swift silencing. He's gotten away with things in this past life due to a single friend he's stayed in contact with over the years via satellite phone he's always tried to keep at his side. The friend is a hacker-for-hire, who works in the shadows of the corporeal world, and has kept the protagonist well informed of current events in his area, and where to be and not to be if authorities come looking. The protagonist uses him mainly as a voice of reason. His hacker friend keeps him grounded when normally he jumps head-first into conflict without much thought. The protagonist comes to realize he is needed most back at home, where society, and the normal way of life have gone awry. The societal structure of his home country has become a dark, ordered and constantly surveyed populous. Television, internet, media in general is now under strict control of a corporate oligarchy, which comprises a team of cunning businessmen elected as leaders by the media-hungry consumerist culture they've created and fed for years. With that power, the oligarchy have now changed how everything operates, and have created a completely complacent population to boot. The oligarchy is after the protagonist because he had previously revealed the involvement in a major international crime that was swept under the rug in the protagonist's home country. The protagonist is stalked by, and chased down after a quick visit with his elderly parents by a hired security team, trying to arrest him for seemingly unknown reasons to the protagonist. He finds out his satellite phone no longer works, and he is found alone in a completely new world he once knew. He battles with a few conflicts solo, but find that even with his lone-wolf attitude, he is much better suited at working with people he trusts, and must find a way to reconnect with his friend, the hacker. Too hip for gangsters and too gangster for hipsters. |

It's weird though, we both had our laptops sitting out unlocked (his is a macbook air) as well as some other expensive stuff, like video game CONSOLES, yet they only took 2 things. |
