I remember when Ghostbusters was being aired as well as Thundercats.

Ah, but which Ghostbusters?  The Real Ghostbusters or the crappier Ghostbusters?

Hahaha, i still remember that old Spiderman series (i really, REALLY hated all those monologues Peter used to do. It was like

Oh yeah mister Connor i'll protect your samples

ijusthopedoctorconnorsdon'tturnintothatlizard

"Woops Doc Connors transformed into the lizard"

woahdoctorconnorsturnedintothelizardihopehedoesn'tharmthesamplesorsomethingbadwill--

*explosion*
"

Also, the ending was really, really lame. If i recall correctly, the last episode (at least the one the showed here) was where Madam Web was with some other 3 spideys (one was Scarlet Spider i think, and the other was Peter with 6 arms) telling them "We must save all realities and universe, get into this portal" And boom! show canceled

The Wallace and Gromit cartoons are great. The new ones are a stretch but the original few are and always will be great works of art. They made me appreciate claymations, like Corpse Bride.

I just can't comprehend how that movie is so highly regarded. It was pretty boring imo.

I remember a time where Final Fantasy 7 was actually a good game. Before high school, for me. I will never have my game back after that time.

Keep in mind this was about the time when the second wave of Adult Swim anime came in. My freshman year started about two weeks before a certain notorious anime went to air and ended up poisoning half the people I hung out with, and that backwash failtrain continued to steamroll across anything Japanese and popular.

I do blame it all on Inuyasha. Every single bit of it. I am OLD AND BITTER like that.

In the efforts of not making this a shitpost, although it would be neat to cap my own thread, Civilization is being reprinted and rebalanced. No, I'm not talking about Civilization V. Not so much sad. Might make people feel old.

EDIT: Oh GODDAMMIT. Ok, get this. There was originally a Civilization: The Board Game. This was way back in 1980, and was printed in the US in 1981. Sid Meier developed Civilization, the video game. Now, we have a new board game, Sid Meier's Civilization: The Board Game which is not related to the original game at all. Motherfucker this is a shit post!

I remember when I was a youngin', the whole family would get together every week to watch the new installments of Leave it to Beaver.

ugh yeah that was the worst

there's actually an old DOS game that was exactly the same as the board game, except i think it was hotseat based. might be able to find it online somewhere if you want to see the contrast between original civ and the new civ games

John Carmack can kill a man with his bare hands, so he won't be leaving us any time soon. Besides, when his health begins to decline he'll launch himself in space so he can prolong his life in zero-g.

He already has an undated plane ticket and a prepped VIP room there.
