It seems to a lot of people that the PC genre is rapidly declining into lameness, and such a widely regarded and played game like BF2 having it's sequel fall victim to the same charade, really rings home hard to a lot of people who were very excited for it. It feels like you're getting buttfucked without a courtesy reach-around by developers now, who seem to value a dollar over content. |

Great news, glad that consumers were able to slap some sense into EA there. Will probably put my pre-order in pretty soon as well

Wow, that's probably the first time I ever saw an internet petition pop up and actually work. Sure I know Bad Company had the same deal, but I wasn't around for that one. Anyways, good for Dice and/or EA for actually listening to their customers.
Anyways, that's 2/2 issues with this game gone, so I guess I'll be picking it up then.

2.4mb sig ã(ಠâ¿â¿à² ã)      (â¯à² â¿â¿à² )â¯ï¸µbıs qɯ4Ë2 |

I've been in the Alpha myself the past few days. It's over on Monday, but it's definitely given me a good look into what we'll be seeing come the Beta.

With vehicles, I believe you can recover some health, but it's not as quick as people, but it goes along with how you can disable vehicles, like blowing up their tracks or destroying the turret and then from that they can recover, though I don't think it's a full recover. I didn't get much of a chance to test that kind of stuff out in the Alpha where there was only one APC, but I love the disabling thing. No more vehicles escaping with minimal health to just fully repair themselves and run back out.
The Opt out is pretty great also, though needed some tweaks, cause it like...respawns you anyways, then you can opt out, not too mention it respawns you with your pistol in hand. It was handy, but felt off, so hopefully that is fixed by the Beta. |

A few other game specifics...
-That tower on the Caspian Border map is climbable so snipers can use it. -Squad members can spawn on any squad member. -The 9 multiplayer maps are in the release of the game and does not include DLC. -Co-Op Gameplay - Battlefield 3: Co-op Demo (LOL, the ingame dialogue is hilarious. Hopefully that is tweaked abit during more quiet game moments.) - -Server Browsers for consoles. -And while my knowledge of 1942 is very limited these days, apparently Caspian Border is as large as El Alamein from 1942. I'm guessing that is a pretty good size? |

Ah, here we go, a better size comparison for Caspian Border. Here is a picture with Heavy Metal, the biggest Bad Company 2 map laid over Caspian.
http://i.imgur.com/c67FO.jpg Motion Sensors are now beacons you deplay and can be destroyed, so no more spamming motion sensors to find people. TDM can go down to 4 on 4 and up to 24 players and is a vehicle-less game mode. The EOD Bots are just what I was expecting. They are for arming/disarming MCOMs, but are also for repairing vehicles. Also you can put C4 onto them and make them kamikaze bots lol 3D spotting has been reworked. You can only spot people when you have LOS. If they get behind cover, the 3D mark disappears, but they stay on the minimap. No more seeing people behind cover. |
