I'm telling you guys, Omaha is where its at. Cheap housing (Houses are going for 130-140k in my neighborhood), plenty of tech and financial sector jobs.

I pay $1100/mo for 670sqft, but that comes with a lot of perks so I think it's worth it.

I pay $733/month to split a 3 bedroom in Boston, but compared to similar price/quality/location/perks in the city it's a steal.
Buuut I'm moving back to CO at the end of the summer anyway so... |

850/month for 2 bedroom basement apartment in middle of the city. Separate entrance and driveway. It's solid. And I split the rent with my GF, so It's only 425/month

I almost feel like we should make a thread exclusively for this, also remember Vlambo is canadian, they use monopoly money up there :p this makes his ACTUAL rent around ~675 USD.

$975/mo for a 650sq ft (advertised as 800sq ft) 1-bedroom in a city with a normally low cost of living :\
Got moving apathy. Wanna move, not motivated to go through the trouble atm. |

Paypal Account Hacked Yesterday
Fucker took $3,459 Showed up as a transaction in my bank today. Good news, my Paypal is only associated with Debit/Checking, it was still under "Pending transactions", was able to issue stop payment and set my account to "Credit Only" (no withdrawals allowed), they also cancelled my debit card and are sending a new one. Talked with Paypal support, Paypal account credited this amount "Just in case" (but can't touch it until the 'dispute' is resolved). I currently have less than no money, but the fucker ain't getting shit anyway. Gotta wait a while for these things to process properly so I can't buy a damn thing for probably a few weeks, but I definitely did a fuckton of 2FA enabling and password changing (Each password is a minimum of 130-bits with every character type whatever my log in system supports, and they are stored in an encrypted file using both a password AND an encrypted key [with backups] and of course security question changes) the last 2 days. Of course at every institution I talked to that can view my activity logs I could say; "Look at my transaction history and now look at this one... is this normal for me?" pretty much everyone goes "Nope, we'll work with you on it." TL;DR; Paypal Hacked, Paypal Support and Bank both Awesome, will be fine, but temporarily really fucking broke. |

I'm somewhat surprised that paypal even allows withdrawals from the bank of that size, I try to keep mine under $600-800 and whenever enough Etsy purchases stack up I dump it all back into my checking.
