Magikarp-karp-karp.
It's pretty likely that I'll only be at acen on Saturday because my friends aren't too interested in going all 3 days and I'm driving them home. I'll be at the Valve photoshoot though if any of you are going, and maybe run into a few of you before and after. My cosplay plans are subject to change but as of right now: Saya and Diva from Blood+ with my roommate then BLU Medic then Tezuka from Gay Tennis Prince of Tennis I have another friend who wants to go as a BLU engie so we'll be taking on you REDs with just a mini sentry. It'll be super effective. (he's really excited to see everyone at the valve shoot) ask me about mpreg |

Image alert
Demoman cosplay is basically 100% finished. All I can really do now is fix some of the blemishes where paint scratched off the grenade launcher. Anyways, here's what you can expect at ACEN. Only foreseeable problems are that the velcro holding the grenade launchers up doesn't actually adhere to the neoprene vest that well, and also I'm blind as fuck since I don't have contact lenses. EDIT: Also, I'll be at ACEN on Thursday through Sunday. Caff corrupted me into skipping my friday lectures (read: I was able to fill out planned absence forms)

I originally read that bolded part as Damage Alert and I was like "lol its funny because Eightball is our demo and he blows shit up"
But then I realized that I had only made myself laugh and it held no real context to the current situation. Oh and it looks great man. Usually as part of the exam they'll give you a pair (to try the 'fit'), and then they typically have common prescriptions in stock and can givesell them to you right away. That's what I intend on doing, but I wore contacts for years (years and years ago ;x) so they don't really bother me. "If you want to be a Double E, bend over and grab your knees...." [/quote]They'll irritate your eyes until you get used to them (and may continue to if they're toric for an astigmatism or you aren't diligent about cleaning them), but otherwise no. Of course I'm talking about soft contacts here, because that's what I have experience with. Rigid Gas-Permeable ones are another story, but aren't as common. Also, your eye doctor (either optician or ophthalmologist) can explain what you need better than a forum can. "If you want to be a Double E, bend over and grab your knees...." One of the long-term complications if you wear them improperly is having blood vessels grow into your cornea and cause blindness because you are wearing them for too long each day and you're starving your cornea of oxygen. :/ That's why I had to stop wearing them.

How does one manage to wear contacts "improperly"?
Don't wear them inside out, because that's uncomfortable. And don't obtain them without a prescription, that's how one can get eye problems caused by contacts that don't fit. And get contacts that have more "breath-ability" than others. Your optometrist can probably recommend a few. ask me about mpreg |

RTFM and follow your eye doctor's directions, all will be well. "If you want to be a Double E, bend over and grab your knees...." "Atom is Sexy!" <-- Donate your own pic to the cause!
